Cars is next, but Rats is on the board! http://www.eonline.com/Reviews/Movies/Megaplex/Column/050323c.html We'll Always Have Pixar: After next year's Cars, the animation maestros at Pixar will finally be free of their deal with Disney. So, their first post-Mickey Mouse production is about...CGI rats. Coincidence? We don't think so. Team Megaplex gets the skinny from Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), who plays a chef in Ratatouille, the story of rodents living in a French restaurant. After doing Finding Nemo, Garrett claims the new film's business as usual for Pixar. "It's all about the writing for them," he tells us. "They can afford to hire the people who get it. It's not a favor, it's not a political thing, it's not two attorneys who had a comedy at a network. It's people who know what they're doing." What else can he tell us? Not much, really, as Garrett can't even see the whole script. "They send you the pages you're in," he says, "like Woody Allen does."
What I want to know is, can they do a sequal to the Incredibles? I would assume that may be legally sticky thanks to their deal with Disney...
I 've heard that Pixar isnt planning on a sequel for The Incredibles or Finding Nemo. But I could be misinformed.
It doesn't sound like they've ruled it out: http://www.superherohype.com/news/featuresnews.php?id=2652
