So I'm going to be in Newport, RI next week and it will actually be my first business, east coast, and travel alone trip. I am only going to be there for 4 days next week (Mon-Thur) and most are telling me it's going to be freezing, get a ski jacket, etc and a select few who I feel know what they're talking about that it's still alright for now. Can anyone on the east coast chime in for me? My wardrobe literally consists of t-shirts and a couple of sweaters (exaggeration but still no east coast winter clothing). I will be going back regularly but I am hoping that I will make do with what I have for next week. By the way, anyone been to THames St.? What's it like? I only know that it's kind of an upscale area, and that the street is inconveniently narrow (important to me because we'll be doing construction on THames). I get the feeling that I'll be missing the SoCal winters in the coming months. The purpose for this trip is to make it to the informational meeting with the business owners before construction starts.
Newport's usually a little colder then the rest of the east because it's right on the water and is far north. You should be fine with a sweatshirt and a shirt and some pants. But if not, t hen buy a jacket in newport.
You know what makes me sad? YOU DO! Maybe we should chug over to mamby pamby land where we can find some (manhood) for you YOU JACKWAGON! Spoiler It will be in the 50s probably during the day, 40s at night. It might drop into the 30s at night once or twice next week. You will probably need a jacket as you are a California nancy boy, but you shouldn't need a ski jacket.
Women say that panty hose are wind resistant and can keep your legs warm. Since you'll be all alone, be sure to call your mom at least twice a day.
