I used to have one. Great, Great, Great dog. She lived a long time (17 years old when we had to put it down.) My parents were worried when my brother was born how it would react, and she treated him great. I don't really remember her puppy phase but I know she was kind of crazy (like any puppy) and ate our curtains. The one big problem I remember is the shedding. They shed like there is no tomorrow. Be prepared for that. I'm sure you'll love this dog though. Good choice.
