I saw this on gawekr last week - not as big deal as portrayed, most of those near "collisions" are at super low speed, the biker delivery guys (and the cares) aren't really going that fast and are easy to avoid. it's really not that hard - and that intersection (28th & park it looks like) isn't particularly dangerous either.

Seems like douchebags on bicycles is the majority of the problem.

And with the semi hit and run, sometimes they can't feel the bump on their trailer. I watched once as a semi crushed a car in front of me because it was turning right and the really really smart person pulled into the small space they had left for turning. The truck started decapitating the car as it pushed it against the curb.

maybe im used to this since i grew up and still live here, but most of those clips don't look like anything dangerous is happening.

the markers would blink red when i biker rode by pedestrians, but it didn't look like they ever collided or even had to jump/run out of the way to prevent a collision. all parties seemed pretty calm except for the editor of the video.

that said, there were one or two near accidents in the video, but the rest was just red blinking lights for no reason.

I jaywalk all the time; but what the hell some people just randomly run in front of a moving vehicle or stop in the middle of the road.

Cyclists are really the main source of the problem. No respect to traffic laws at all.

it's actually a tame intersection by New York City standards, with the exception of the close-call right turns, everything else isn't so bad, plus some were exaggerated

main street + roosevelt in Flushing, now that is bad... almost like China...

Maybe I've just gotten so used to Texas drivers. There aren't as many idiots with licenses around here.

Compared to New York, L.A., etc.
    Houston is pretty mild, imo.
