Does anyone agree with me that the throwbacks we used this year were out of style. Someone on another thread wrote about this and said that very few people had attatchment to these 70's jerseys and whover wrote that, I agree with. I think our throwbacks should go back to the 90's seasons when we were winning the championships with Hakeem. Anyone have any opinions?
I guess maybe that's why they call them "throwbacks." As the other poster said, we were the 90's uni 2 seasons ago, we only wore it once or twice though. I believe you can only wear throwbacks every other season so you won't have to worry about it for a while.
I wish we had throwbacks every year like the Lakers and Sixers. We got 2 of the top selling jerseys in the NBA, so we will just have to see how smart this new marketing guy is.
They only wore the 93-94 throwback uni's for one game in 04. In 05 it seems like they were wearing the throwback uni's once a week and they picked that horrible 70's one. In 04 the one game they wore the familiar championship uni's they blew out their opponents.
i'd also like to see the rox come out in the jersey's from the championship days, and i'm sure they'd sell like none other. but i really like the throwbacks we used this year, bought one for myself and before i knew it half of my friends did too. we had an amazing record in those 70's jerseys too, so i don't know how you could hate on em
The one game that they wore the 94-95 jerseys in the 02-03 season (yao's rookie year) ironically was against the Magic
haha I remember after we won that game wearing the championship uni's francis wanted to wear the uni for the rest of the season but the league said "no!"
I know the throwback jerseys from the championship years were popular because we won our 2 trophies with it, but that was essentially the 80's jersey, hence I remember it as such and not as our 90's jersey, that belongs to the flying dildo jersey.
