I'd rather have one with just the logo, or some other type of modifications at least. But on a side note, does anyone know when any gear will be available in stores? If anybody, I'm sure Tim would know...you out there?
Gear is already in stores, I bought a black wool hat with the logo the beginning of the month at Finish Line, and bought my cousin the same design as a tshirt at Oshmans, both for $18.
Damn, maybe it's just that I live in Austin, but I went up to Highland Mall here the other day and looked everywhere...all I could find was "Old School" ****e. Thanks for letting me know, I'll try various Finish Lines.
I went to Oshmans a couple weeks ago and bought a couple shirts with the new logo, but the hats weren't available yet.... If it's there I can't wait, I'll get it tomorrow and wear it every day the rest of my life!
Why not just buy it on line and avoid the malls all together. I bought my hat on line from the NBA store and also purchased one of the grey t-shirts as well.
We just got back from Houston and my daughter got a hat and t-shirt at Academy by Greenway. Both had the new logo.
I'm not going to be an idiot like last time there was a new logo. I'm going to get all the old, ugly authentics for dirt cheap and then sell them for $300 in about 8 years when it's the new 'hardwood classic'.
Wait till you guys get a chance to see some of the other hats that are about to come out. Because of being on the fan council I was able to scope a few of them out. My favorite one was hat that had Houston Rockets in Chinese. I bet those sell like hotcakes. They had some real nice ones. I also was able to get me one of those red hats with just the logo. Woo hoo! Wow, my 400th post. I am a senior member now!!!!
Yes, I believe they will have some on sale at the Public Open House for the Toyota Center they are having on 9/13 from 12-5. You need to get your tickets from a Toyota Dealer to get in.
I got 2 hats on my way to Las Vegas last week. They had a buy 1 get 1 half off sale at the hat store in Bush Intercontinental airport (in the secured area, unfortunately ). I got a white one with a red logo and a black one with a red logo. Very cool.
