what about Uche Okafor? From what i have seen and heard he is very good at blocking shots, but is still raw and hasn't been taught a whole lot yet. I'm not sayin to get him with our 1st pick but with our pick later in the first round. i think he'd be a steal.

he'd be a great second round pick for a team that needs a backup center or is willing to bring him on really really really slowly. he's only been playing for a few years (a la michael olowakandi) so there's a lot he doesn't know but he appears to have a lot of good basketball instincts. and he's big. it's a shame that he couldn't get his eligibility at Missou because he would have been a sensation there.

Yeah, he maybe good at blocking shots, but he could barely even reach Chris Wilcox's wrist.

I am not saying he can get quite as high as Wilcox, but he was caught by suprise on that play. To judge his natural abilities on that one play would be a tremendous oversight.

Has he even played anywhere this year?

He did not play at Mizzou this year.

I hope you guys aren't mistaking him for Emeka Okafor of UConn, and formerly of Bellaire HS.

Yeah, I know. I was just looking for a chance to get another Wilcox promotion in.
