    Same old ****.

Make an amazing debut album and then let it all go to your head so you only rap about arrogant **** and throw temper tantrums when you don't win meaningless awards voted on by 14 year olds. 50 and Kanye are the same person.

    **** this bubblegum rap ****.

I've heard different opinions on both albums, the difference is I've never met anyone who didn't like Kanye's first. I like them both, but yeah that we major production with Jon Brion was amazing.

The real album I'm waiting for is Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. Check this song out. Matthew Santos is on the hook, he's the guy who sang on American Terrorist.

Now as for Kanye and Chamillionaire......

I love the production on Graduation. I like the vibe his music gives out. For me there's only one skip track and that's Barry Bonds with Lil Wayne. I don't think it's a classic, but it's still a great album.

    Graduation 4/5

I like Chamillionaire's album too. He's got a good mix of banging beats with good lyrics. The only track I'll skip is Rock Star with Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne is getting annoying, it seems like all he wants to do is spit punchlines.

    Ultimate Victory 4/5

Yes he is. Lyrically he's better than both Kanye and 50. His album is also better. Kanye is an amazing producer but like others have said, he spits some of the most cheesy lines you could imagine.

THANK YOU. I'm glad someone mentioned all this. Honestly, I don't even understand why me makes an MTV Award such a big deal. I lost all my respect for him when he pulled that crap at the EMAs. And then he's b****ing again this year, c'mon now. Getting pissed over not winning a grammy is understandable, but an MTV award?

Oh yeah, go check out the new UGK if you haven't already.

his pansy style, whinning and lyrics that try too hard areannoying. No doubt, a few good songs but for people to mention him like he is a top dawg in the bigger picture is funny.

the fact that 50 cent is his "big rival" is proof in and of itself that he is a joke.

I mainly like this album for its beats. But that is the same for most music I listen to. I don't really pay attention to the lyrics or the surrounding story around him. It doesn't really bother me if an artist is a prick, because most likely I'll never come in contact with him.

Kanye's new CD is pretty good. "Can't Tell Me Nothing" is easily one of the best rap songs this year. "Stronger" is pretty catchy too.

Chamillionaire's Ultimate Victory really shines. He jumps into a lot of more serious subjects yet keeps it playful in a few songs. He has always displayed an effortless, consistent flow and the beats on this CD definitely shine. Much better than Sound of Revenge in my opinion. He needs to cut down on singing his own hooks so often, but other than that, he is emerging as one of the most talented lyricists in the South, other than Andre 3000. "Industry Groupie" is an excellent song, especially for those of you have been to Rockets games. Can't ever go wrong with throwing "The Final Countdown" beat in there. Surprised it hasn't been done until now.

I believe the track is more of giving props to Jay-Z. He's calling him his big brother and saying that he admires him, and should have told him that since day one.

At least that's how I heard it.

    Cheers,
    T

Ok, I spent my lunch break getting this album and I must say after my initial sampling of the album I am a bit dissapointed. This is only the initial sampling so I won't base my final judgement on it. I am a BIG 'Ye fan but it seems he dropped off lyrically on this one. The first 2 albums were amazing for the first listen, and still sounds fresh today. I do like the fact that he tries different things and is not afraid to do so rather than being formulaic like 99% of the industry.

There were lots of people buying both his and 50's album. I didn't buy 50's as I have not bought either of his first 2. 50's just too phonie for me and is not a ligit artist b/c he his sells records and made his career off of dissing others for the exact same things he does now. i.e. make cheezie love songs with him singing in the chorus and being a Pac wannabe (this after dissing Ja Rule for doing both the same things).

I know there's lots of hate of Kanye but he is far from a pop wannabe rapper. Dude is ultra talented lyrically and innovative. Pop rap would be like P-Diddy and his shinny suits, or hollywood fresh prince (not "parents don't understand fresh prince).

I heard an interview where Kanye said in order to put out his true feelings for Jay-z who he loves like a bro, he had to say to good with the bad so it is not a diss. Just open, honest feelings for someone he respects.
