This guy? He looks like No.xx from SPECTRE in one of the early Bond movies. Are the producers running out of talents or what? Sean Connery is the best James Bond. Bar none.
at least they didnt pick hugh grant or collin ferrell. ive been a huge james bond fan most of my life and have seen all of the movies except the last couple. i never really got into pierce brosnan - i even liked timothy dalton better and the two movies he did were good "bond" flicks. i dont know about james bond being blonde. he's always had dark hair - makes him more suave and dangerous. at this point i think they should just let the series go. its been over 40 years. favorite bond movies - thunderball, live and let die, you only live twice, a view to a kill, goldfinger.
I actually think this guy can do a good job. If they could come up with a story that isn't completely ridiculous.
Actually I kind of like the pick. Rugged, kind of dangerous looking, not sure if he's a good guy or bad guy kind of look. I'll give him a shot.
my understanding is they're working back in time...this is supposed to be Bond as a young guy in Her Majesty's Secret Service. i don't know what to think, really.
It's sad to think of what's happened with Bond films Goldeneye was actually very good and ushered Brosnan into a role he was perfect for. But unfortunately, just when they got the perfect actor, their scripts went downhill... Tomorrow never dies was... eh ... not bad. The World Is Not Enough... eh ... not good. Die Another Day ... immeasurably aweful. Worst of all Bond films. Oh, and by the way, that actress who played Monypenny (Samantha Bond) has said that if Brosnan doesn't come back, she won't come back. So, we'll have a new blonde actor for Bond, a new actress for Moneypenny, and really crappy script. This has potential to top Die Another Day as the worst Bond film of all time. yay.
I always thought Brosnan was way overrated in the role, so I don't mind them recasting Bond for Casino Royale. We'll see what Daniel Craig brings to the part. Something tells me he'll be very reminiscent of Dalton's Bond which I have no problem with.
far and away the greatest Bond movie. believable story. good script. classic connery. this is before they got cute with gadgets..and just focused on making a great movie.
I concur. But I think we are in the minority. It's interesting the next movie, Gold Finger, is the all-time favorite according to most Bond movie lovers. I guess p***y Galore really has an appeal to men.
apparently but i really don't think it's even close. From Russia with Love is so unique as a Bond movie.
