Apparently this guy bought this new jersey off ebay from a guy who works for sales at Adidas.

The blue sleeve has go to go.

I would never wear a jersey with Amigo Energy on it. WTF. Go back to the city/team name on the front.

    Wow, that's just bad.

I don't understand why they don't put the stars above the shield for MLS titles. They should do that.

They do, we'll have two stars on the jerseys next year. This year we had one star and the scudetto which the defending champ wears.

And these new jerseys are indeed hideous. A blue sleeve and a starburst? The fact that somebody came up with the idea and then multiple people approved it is astounding.

Then that would make the MLS one of the few if not the only soccer league in the world without jersey sponsors.

Would you rather have Best Buy, BMO, Comex, Herbalife, Glidden, Volkswagon, XBOX 360, XanGo, RedBull.

    It's a soccer thing.

Wow, that's a shame. I was not a huge fan of the blue swirl on our previous shirt, but it beats the heck out of this. This is one of my qualms with Adidas; they seem to feel the constant need to alter kits every few seasons, sometimes with negative results like what they've done to our Orange. Examples are the "bananas" that were on the first-gen of the most recent Los Angeles Galaxy shirts and the initial Toronto FC jerseys. They've given both upgrades, with Toronto sharing a template with Seattle Sounders FC now, I believe. However, I have not seen another MLS team move toward the awkward shoulder coloring. I hope this is done away with soon.

DrLudicrous: do you know when the Dynamo's contract runs out with Amigo Energy? I'd like for us to get a bigger sponsor, like VW or Best Buy. At least something that doesn't scream "local energy company."

That's what bothers me the most. It's like the fat chick who wears a bikini. You damn well know she looking in the mirror and said "I look good. I should go out with this on." Some one within Adidas and the Dynamo said that this was a good idea.

    They were wrong...

I hated the blue stripe. I hate the blue sleeve even more. Looks like I'll be wearing my old DeRo stuff.
