http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2012/ Now has Terrence Jones at 14, Tyler Zeller at 16. Other notable items: Myers Leonard up to 12. Perry Jones down to 17.
Looks pretty good if you believe all the chatter out there. I think I read somewhere that Marshall said he doesn't think he's being considered as high as 11. If Rivers indeed has a promise from a lottery team, maybe you slot him in at 11 instead.
Rivers for Portland would be a great pick if Crawford leaves. Picking whoever drops out of the general top 5 picks at #6 would give Portland the best draft.
How is an undersized PF in Sullinger going as high as 6? I haven't watched too many games of his but is he raw?
He's not raw at all. Sullinger is actually a pretty fully formed played already. I love his game but 6 is a stretch. Especially since he is a bit of tweener. He's basically Blair with a hella range.
Also Jones (a guy who does nothing awesome and a lot of stuff okay) and Zeller (who I just don't like) would be a really terrible draft for us if we picked 14 and 16. MUCH rather get Rivers/Jones III with this mock.
Sullinger has the best post-game and great footwork, also great shooting, excellent from downtown. The only concern is athleticsm and size.
If it were to break this way, I'd got Austin Rivers, SG Duke, at 14 and Terence Ross, SF Washington, at 16. I want some aggressive scorers. I could live with Zeller at 16 but not really excited.
It would be a huge blessing if somehow a few guys like Marshall, Waiters, & Rivers somehow leapfrog into the top 15. If the Rockets could steal quality players like Jones & Zeller at 14 & 16 thats great. Thats IF they actually keep those picks, and thats a big IF.
Sully is as fully formed and polished as any draft pick in years. He also has the lowest upside of any lottery pick due to his polished skill set. I can easily describe what he will be as an NBA player - Scola with more bulk. Same limited vertical, same lack of lateral movement, same lack of explosiveness. But the most NBA ready of any of the draft picks.
It doesn't look like they released those numbers: http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-pre...+Draft+Combine&sort2=DESC&draft=0&pos=0&sort=
