Three essay questions I'm having trouble with: a) How is the chemical structure of an enzyme related to its specificity and catalytic activity? (Must have 3 points/examples) b) How would you design an experiment to investigate the influence of temperature on the activity of an enzyme? c) What information could be inferred from your experiment concerning the structure of an enzyme? (Must have at least 1 point/example.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
These things usually don't go over well, especially when you offer nothing but the questions and basically ask others to do your work for you.
First off. This is not my homework. The essay is not homework, rather this is a sneak preview for an essay I have to write in class tomorrow. This is basically a study guide so it wouldn't benefit me to copy and paste. I just need some key points at least to start me off in the right direction.
I know your trying to be funny. And Yo, I'm real happy for you, I'm going to let you finish... but [insert name of CF.net poster here] had one of the best satirical posts of all time. In all seriousness though. I really need some help here.
So you thought it would be a good idea to ask people who come here to avoid doing anything productive to... do something productive? I don't recommend taking Logic any time soon.
I just want someone to start me off in the right direction. I'm not telling you guys to type a whole damn paper for me, just please list some key points that could help me get started on this. Keywords, a sentence or two, anything.... would help.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but the answers to your questions could be easily found if you put in the effort. I can understand if you dont understand something, but these questions are very basic.
Yes and no. The willingness of students to use any random posting as a legitimate factual academic source, and the willingness of any institution that accepts said use of crap... THAT'S what's illegitimized education in general. College kids aren't the only ones to do it. To the OP - temperature's effect on an enzyme... that's like hot and cold, right? I mean... think about it...
That is why our high school uses a Reliable Resource System. Where we can only source from University Websites, Government Websites, and other pre-approved resources.
In the past, knowing "stuff" was important. Today, knowing stuff is overrated. Knowing how to find stuff is important.
If this is a sneak preview of an in class essay, then this is stuff you should probably already know enough about. Instead, you're begging for a freaking keyword on a basketball forum. Just give up. You're ****ed.
Back then, it was going to the library and actually garnering information from a very limited and trustworthy source. Now google / wiki, copy... paste... thesaurus...spellcheck... print... done.
Ok. Your point is? Fact of the matter is, some of these people have graduated college. Therefore they know science. Therefore, they might be able to help me.
