Okay heres the deal. I was moving this weekend, and some how hand soap got all over my xbox 360. The hard drive works fine. However the 360 isnt turning on. Im thinkin it's fried. Anywas. I called xbox and told them I was getting the three red lights( :) ) the reason I did is because I dont wanna freakin pay to get it fixed. So my question is how can I get the soap out of this thing before I ship it off. Im afraid when they get it and see the soap they wont fix it. So what im thinkin is that I somehow need to get all the soap out of it then when they get it I can just claim it was broke during shipping. Sure this might be a little questionable.. but i dont wanna buy a new one! Would you guys have any adivce on how I could get the soap out of the system without opening it up. Once its opened the warranty is voided. Or maybe some suggestions on how I can explain it not working. They run a test on it when they receive it anywas. Am I screwed or is this going to work????

    thanks guys

You could buy mine for 299. ;) Seriously, I've been trying to sell it for a week now. Premium model, controller, head set....mint condition, and no soap on the inside. :D

open it up. try q-tips for the cracks. maybe some compressed air to blow it out of certain areas.

    Ah. Didn't know that one.

Well, if you're screwed either way, then you've got nothing to do but open it up and try to clean it out.

    It should dry out, right?

Just send it in they probably won't even open it and will just send you a new one.....

And you can always feign ignorance...and say maybe something spilled on it in transit.

There's usually a sticker seal or something like that.
