I have an interview coming up later this week. I have a choice of either morning or afternoon. It probably doesn't matter much, but which is better? Should I worry about people leaving early Friday and not getting a chance to talk to me? Any recruiters in here have an idea?

I've always preferred to go in the morning... nothing worse than interviewing right before or after lunch... either starving or full and sleepy.

Friday? Oh god, go morning, it's a no brainer.

The last thing people want to do on a Friday afternoon is wait around at work for something they wouldn't normally have to do and delay the onset of their weekend by that much, provided they're actually still even there.

    morning

if you did afternoon... you would wake up, and sit there anxious all day until the interview. the wait would kill you

Definitely in the morning. Friday is becoming more and more a day where people leave at lunchtime. You don't want the people to be pissed at you because you made them stay on a Friday afternoon when they could have left if you came in the morning, now would you?

If you're competing against other people then I would say afternoon. You always want to be the the last person on the interviews mind. If you were to go in the morning, you might just end up being 'the guy that came eariler in the morning'..instead of 'that last guy was great!' Just my thoughts
