    Hi Guys,

So I have been trying to sell my old iphone ebay. First guy backed out of the auction. So I had to relist it. I used the relist feature off the original auction. I had a guy from Africa win and i had in my auction I am not shipping it overseas. I had a lady in Vietnam win... same story.

Now ebay has sent me an invoice for their share of these three auctions. How do I let them know all these buyers backed out after the auction?

ATTENTION: This is your first invoice and we encourage you to review the following help documentation to better understand how to review your invoice. Please visit the link below to view the help page:

    Hello (shervinj),

Your eBay invoice for the period from January 16, 2011 through February 15, 2011 is now available to view online.

    Amount Due: $21.02

You have set up PayPal as your automatic payment method. Your invoice amount will be automatically deducted from your PayPal account between March 2, 2011 and March 4, 2011. The amount deducted may vary based on recent payments or credits.

    To view your invoice:
    1. Go to http://www.ebay.com and click "My eBay" at the top of most eBay pages. You will need to sign in.
    2. Click the "Seller Account" link under the "Account" Tab at the top of the page.
    3. Select the invoice you wish to view from the drop down menu located in the Invoices box on the right side of the page.

Remember: eBay will not ask you for sensitive personal information (such as your password, credit card and bank account numbers, Social Security number, etc.) in an email.

    Thank you for using eBay.

    Regards,
    eBay

Have you been documenting all these auctions in Ebay's 'resolution center'? Anyone backing out or not paying or whatever, you should make sure that you enter that into Ebay's system, it may be reflected in your charges at the end of the month.

Other than that, just click on "Customer Support" and I think one of the options is 'problem with ebay fees' or you can just send an email through their system.

When you log in and go to MyEbay find the item you sold and click on the down arrow in the drop down section where it says take action or something like that. There should be an option to report an issue. That should take you to the resolution center where you can open a no payment case, cancellation case, etc....

BTW..in your auction did you specify that you will not ship internationally?

You can even go one step further and block buyers who live where you don't ship.

Go to My eBay/Account/Site Preferences/Buyer Requirements
and select "Have a primary shipping address in a location I don't ship to"

Then when you list an item to sell, there should be an option to specify where you will/won't ship to.

It kind of sucks having to do all that, but it's better than getting burned in a situation like this. Good luck!
