He was waived by the T-Wolves. Should we pick him up. Rather see him develop than keep Glover.

It is a shame that the late Yinka Dare never materialized in the NBA.

I've never seen the guy play but IMO he has a better chance of being a contributor than Glover. He only played 54 minutes all season last year, so not many people have seen him play. I read that he sucks and is injury prone, but 27 points on 52% shooting and 16 boards isn't too shabby for 54 minutes for a young guy getting his first minutes in the NBA.

I liked Ebi in high school but he definitely should have gone to college to gain about 30-40 lbs of muscle. I think his skills are similar to Eddie Griffin's, in that he was a good shot blocker, tremendous rebounder and had NBA 3 pt range on his shot.

can we sign him and send him to the nbdl? i think he could become a decent role player if he gains some weight and gets a little more experience...

Wow, I remember when NBAdraft.net was hyping him up as a top 3 pick saying that he could shut down LeBron in the McDonalds practices.

Why do people want to pick up every scrub/bust that is cut by another team? If he couldnt even make it on the T-wolves roster what makes anyone think he could even get close to sniffing the court with the depth on our team. Besides we dont even have any open roster spots for us to pick up anyone.

thats one of the reasons why the t-wolves cut him, because of his refusal to play in the development league.

Well for every T-Mac or Lebron to come out of high school, you'll have a few Ndudi Ebi's.

Its sad to see someone's career get ruined because they didn't go to college. Hopefully, others don't make such mistakes.

There are still plenty of places in the world he can play and still get paid.
I still think that is an option some young players should consider. 200K to play in Europe has got to be better than a dorm room. He could probably qualify for an Olympic team too.

I don't think he refused to play in the NBDL. The CBA only allows teams to send rookies and sophomores down to the D-league. He's starting his 3rd year, so he's not eligible. He can play in the NBDL, but the Twolves (or Rockets) can't maintain his rights while he does that.

His career is far from ruined. I'm betting he's be gone a couple of years playing overseas or in the NBDL; he'll get some seasoning and make it back to the NBA.
