Son of Kong wounded NBAtalk has learned through a league source that Seattle and New York have again failed to reach an agreement to swap Patrick Ewing and Vin Baker. In the latest proposal, after King Kong had died, the Knicks demanded that Seattle send Baker AND Horace Grant in exchange for Ewing and filler players. Of course, the Sonics balked at such an idea. Originally, Seattle would have been able to send off its filler players to meet cap regulations. Being asked to be on the receiving end of such a transaction seemingly didn't sit too well with them.
