Realigning ACTUALLY DOES make a pretty big difference. For instance, Orlando would of been 3rd seed in the east last year if the new format were in place (assuming i am right in my assesment of divisions) as each division winner be will guarented at least 3rd seed in both conferences. SO even if the rox kik ass next year but finish behind NO or Dallas, the best they can get is 4th seed. THis IS THE BEST realignment for the conditions the NBA has announced (HOrnets move to west, charlote in east) West 1 Dallas Houston San Antonio New Orlenes Memphis West 2 LA LAkers LA Clippers Pheonix Denver Utah West 3 Sacramento Golden State Seattel Portland Minesota East1 Chicago Indiana Detroit Cleveland Millwacki East 2 New Youk New Jersey Philidelphia Boston Toronto East 3 Miami Orlando Charlotte Atlanta Washington I know spliting up the Calafornia teams doesnt sound that great but it makes the most sense geographicly as LA is pretty close to pheonix anyway and making a all clai devision with 1 other team would really mess things up. coments? disagreements?
no re-alignment needed; what NBA needs to to seed the play-off. seeding makes for a more competitive final.
