Since everyone I've talked to has been in support of the idea, I think we're probably going to do this, and we need to organize who is going to be what team. I want the most active GMs as I can, and with BGM and mduke needing spots, I will most likely give them two of the inactive teams. Anyway, for right now, I am giving everyone their current teams, but giving them the option to trade. Here is the list of teams and owners as I have it, with asterisks by owners who are willing to or want to trade. If you want to trade, post some teams you'd like to have below, and see if the other owner will accept. Remember there is a draft every year, so there is a bonus if you aren't in the playoffs. I might consider trading teams. Is there anyway to show how much the cap is, and how close each team is to it? The amount and length of contracts of players? Can you release players at any time and have their contracts not count against the cap? Can you resign players at any time , or just when they are FAs?
Cat doesn't have the game yet so he does not know. I know in Madden that releasing players counted as a cap penalty.
mduke, After BGM "resigned" after winning the championship, part of what he wanted was to get back in the league if we ever started again. I agreed to that. Anyway, there are several teams that aren't that active, and I will get you in somehow, because I know you would be. I may give you the Heat, since Drew has been inactive for several seasons, or something like that... I need to talk to a few GMs.
Manny, You and mduke are the next two guys up. (mduke first) Actually, I'm curious about your thoughts on co-GMs. I've never brought this up before, but I know you and mduke can be good and active GMs. Would either or both of you be interested in being a "Co-GM" with someone who isn't that active? Some possible examples might include the Heat, Bulls, Cavs, Grizzlies, Clips, etc. Of course it would depend on if you and the other GM could co-exist and come to an agreement on how to do some things, but it's just a thought. Perhaps one person could be in charge of player personnell (trading), and the other in charge of making lineups, setting offenses and defenses, etc. Sort of like one person being the GM and the other the coach.
Heath is considering moving from the Sixers, but not to any of the teams that already have asterisks above. If you are interested in taking Philadelphia, talk to Heath and he might be interested in swapping...
Cat, It would be tough for me to do a "co-GM" for this thing, not because of being able to co-exist, but having to get in touch with the other GM about every decision. I would rather be a GM all by myself and not a Co-GM. I appreciate you trying to get me in now, but as long as you or someone else knows that I would like to get in, it doesn't matter if it's this time around or not. I'm not going anywhere, so I'll be around for a long time.
hmmm - a Western team, and they got Loren Woods then atleast I get to keep one of the 76ers I've created for my team, my current team has none of the current NBA 76ers, well actually Raja Bell, but I never use him in the sim. If you want the Sixers I would think about swapping, although I have ground found of the idea of just sticking with them. Let me know.

i would like any of the possible teams available.. plz Cat the only reason i havent been active this season because i got in trouble a few times at school,, but other than that you know that i am very active.. can i please be the Clippers?
