Assuming the Rockets make it to the playoffs and have some home games blacked out like in the past, will those games be shown on League Pass?

I believe all playoffs games are on TNT and ABC.

I don't plan on missing any of them in Austin. GATER should be right about that. And I think we can look forward to it. We'll have a clearer picture after Saturday... but I don't think it's too early to make plans. :)

He's right. All playoff games are nationally televised.

I thought that I heard some early round games were going to be shown on NBA TV, aka the channel Comcast won't let StupidMoniker have.

Saturday's Game will be shown on NBA TV. Can I still watch it on NBA league Pass?

Depends on whether you have cable or satellite. I get NBATV as part of my regular subscription on DirecTV. I believe I have heard the cable subscribers mention it is not part of their base subscription. Perhaps one of the cable guys can comment?

    GATER,

I have TW cable and you are correct...NBA TV is not a part of the base package.
You either have to get the sports pack..or I think you can pay a nominal fee to get it.

but either way..unless you make arrangements for it..it does not come with the base cable package.

That's correct. I think it's a couple of dollars a month. You can call them up and they should be able to activate it before the game and then add it to your bill. You get something else with it, like Bulgarian Foot Chewing or the like, but it's not much.

The NBA squeezed TimeWarner for an extra broadcasting fee for what we had always gotten for free through LP. TimeWarner threw up their hands after fighting it and passed it along. The NBA is all about making money. Ain't that grand??

    (grrr...)

I'm in Austin, TX. I have had NBA LP for so long that I have forgotten whether NBATV is standard with satellite or standard with NBA LP. Easiest solution....call your mom and ask her to dial up channel 601. If she tells you it's working, you're in business. Otherwise, it's a sports bar or a friends house. Hopefully, she gets 601! :) Good luck. I have a hunch the Rox are going to give the Mavs a good battle this time.

Time Warner in NYC gives NBATV as part of the NBA League Pass package. They did this midseason; I'm sure a lot of people complained and TWC caved. I thought this would be true with all Time Warner affiliates, but I guess it isn't.

I have Dish Network in phoenix and NBATV wasn't part of my 150 channels..however, when I bought LP, I did start getting it.. so I believe it is NOT part of satellite, but part of LP..maybe you can add only NBATV for a few bucks a month!

    I'm in san Antonio
I just talke to the Dish network programmer for mine since if it was only a matter of adding on NBA TV for a few bucks then I'd go for it.

To have NBA TV you would have to buy the "whole package" which includes all kinds of weird outdoor type sports. I THINK you can get NBA TV with a purchase of NBA LP but that comes out to an added $33 a month not including your basic programming and such. And then you are not really sure how much of the Rockets game you will be able to get.
