I don't know if this should go in the hangout or the NBA thread because its related to the NBA but its a video game ?!?! Anyways apparently its Jordan and you will be able to play as him as well. I don't know if I believe it but it has been confirmed by multiple sources. Link: http://www.gamespot.com/news/6263928.html
if this happens, im going to have to reserve my copy of 2k11 ahead of time. i wonder if they will do a madden type simulation of jordan's biggest moments where you take over and try to win the game? that would be awesome.
Been playing with Jordan with excellent mods available... Heck their is an "Air" dunk package in 2k10. The last few NBA 2k releases have been incremental improvements. Hope they add a "Dream Shake" turn around jumper type animation with the official release with Jordan... A certain #34 would be sweet with the move.
wonder how long Scottie thunk about it before signing on the dotted line with his ass in bankruptcy......

LOL thats the first thing I thought too after reading that. Scottie was probably playing MLB 2K10 trying to pitch that perfect game

It's just so much fun to play with MJ.
Everytime I create a player I chose the "Air" dunk package for them. I'm in my first season in the 'My Player' mode and its great, only thing is I got picked up by the Clippers and can't choose my own team till the end of the season. I also throw J's on the players I create but the selection kinda whomps. Hopefully since it'll be the Jordan Edition in a way they'll have a better crop of kicks. Can't freakin wait!
Finally, we get to play with a Real MJ and not just user created ones. Anyone remember NBA Live 96 i believe where you could enter a legends last name and they would automatically create him for you? Anyways, 2K going for the home run. Lets see if NBA Live can step up to the plate this year.
What? Uhm this is 2k11, as in he's been retired for almost a decade. If they want to make a game for the legends, fine, but I think they'd be better off with a different player from the championship team every season. If I had to guess, this was plan B anyway. It also would have made more sense to have a picture of Lebron, ESPECIALLY if he is wearing a new jersey. Ha get it, New Jersey. Ok, yeah this is not worth reserving.
LeBron James < Michael Jordan How hard is that? I really don't get some people Bleezy, they're too stuck in the moment and need to appreciate history and their legends. These guys would probably say Dwight Howard > Hakeem Olajuwon Dwight Howard is not a great center, he's a good center with freakish athleticism that doesn't have any competition, especially when Yao is out for the season.
Well you know what they say about crack... *you can finish that one* Completely agree. Plus....... it's Michael freakin' Jordan. I remember NBA Street being great, but NBA Street Vol. 2 was superb with the addition of Jordan. It's like putting Mike Tyson in Fight Night Round 4, here's a blank check and where do I sign?
It'd make more sense to put Howard on the cover than Olajuwon too. Olajuwon is great, but he's been retired forever. They release a new version of this game every year; I would rather they stick with the stars of the day than try to milk just a little more out of the bloated reputation of a guy who retired a decade ago.
