Green is totally unproven and really young. Luther sucks and is undersized. Barry is really old and coming off injury problems. Novak is one-dimensional at this point. Nachbar is definitely better than any backup wing the Rockets have right now.

    I LOVE BOKI!

I hated that awful trade of Boki AND Jimmy Jackson for friggin David Wesley, we overacheived and in the end we got killed by the Mavs because we were missing guys like Boki and Jim. And to the guy that said he isn't a slasher and cutter. In the past couple years he's made posters of Samuel Dalembert,Drew Gooden,Elton Brand,Tim Duncan...want me to go on? Tyson Chandler, Chris Bosh,Nene.

If you bite on the 3pt fake, he'll take it to the hole and dunk it in your grill, if you don't and give him space, you give him the trey. That's pretty much all his offense but that's all we ask for from him. Plus he can get a swat here and there.

I love Boki too but with Barry we do not need Boki.

I hope you are wrong about Barry.
But yes, Nachbar is 10x greater than Head, Novak. Green is unproven.

The Barry signing clearly indicates to me that if one of your superstar scorers is not an efficient one, it probably makes sense to surround that player with other players who are efficient scorers. That would not be Boki. Would I take him at such a low salary? Sure. But I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Has Jarvis Hayes been signed yet? Or Matt Barnes? Maurice Evans? Gordan Giricek?

All sucks, except maybe Evans. But whatever, I think in the playoff we will only see a 8 man rotatioin. Right now, we have 7. And none of the peeps you mentioned above will make it into the 8.

he meant that if you had read what he said, you would have seen that he was referring to boki as future trade bait for the "3rd Scorer" (insert dramatic music here).

Hmmm, boki wants long term contract - be kind of hard to offer him up as trade bait. Anyway, he had enough highlights last season to make me want him in Rox Red. Energy is what we need. Hard to fire up those retro's at the end of the season without some gas left in the tank.

NJ have signed Najera & Jarvis Hayes. That probably means Boki's leaving the Nets.

Hope yet for Boki fans but what I think the Rockets need right now barring a major trade is some defense behind Battier.

well if what boki says is true, then probably not. I don't think we're going to be trading for / signing anyone with a contract that ends later than 2010.

He has improved considerably since his Houston days. It'd be a great upgrade from the likes of Luther Head. I'd take him back.

On a side note, anyone know where I can find the video in which he got into it with Karl Malone??

I'm on the "Boki postured Karla and will always be a rocket in my heart" bandwagon.

He would be a good addition to our current roster, if we can get rid of Luther.
