I was really hopeful to get him for a while, but now I can tell that Beverley won't be going anywhere for a while. I think he is great value for a second round pick, but it may be a while before he gets a real chance with us.
He's got a few holes to fill before becoming a rotational player. He's not much of an athlete with poor finishing ability, below average outside shooting and relatively high turnover rate. He does show some improvement over last season, but players at his age are usually expected to be more ready to contribute.
