i think dirk does a good job of shutting himself down.... plus when Ryan Bowen was shutting Dirk down... in some of those games... you know Dirk was playing bad.... funny... if you think about it... that game featured the two biggest choke artist in the NBA at the time... Tmac just choked more....
Agreed! How many times this year have you seen TMacs man on defense be a major contibutor on big runs in a game. Some of TMacs greatest blocks this year have been spectacular because they don't expect it.
T-Mac can be a good defender and has shown it in the past. Hell, he still shows it once every two games - when someone pisses him off or challenges him in some way, T-Mac gives his all next time defensively. It usually ends with an airball. So the ability is definitely there, the effort is definitely not. I wouldn't have problems with him if he tried and just wasn't that good at it (like Snyder) but the lack of trying is what I hate the most about him.
