This is my new favorite show.

If you haven't seen it yet, check it out. I hope that it turns into a hit so we can have years of Earl going through is 'good Karma' list.

I like how it can get really corny without me wanting to throw my shoe at the TV. The characters are over the top, but are all really funny in their own way.

Has everybody already seen this show? I could find a thread on it, so I wondered what everyone thought.

I like the show, but there will be a delay with some of the episodes dealing with Jason Lee getting the chicken pox.

i love it. i DVR it every Thurs along with The Office...which is my favorite show on TV right now.

about a year ago, i thought TV truly sucked. that nothing was on worth watching but sports.

now i watch Lost, The Office, My Name is Earl, How I Met Your Mother and Love Monkey, religiously. i look forward to each of these shows each week.

if you haven't caught Love Monkey yet, you should. very well done.

Jason Lee is one of the MOST UNDERRATED actors in Hollywood today. I loved him since Mallrats and has this comedy charisma that stands out compared to other actors. I am glad that he is getting his spotlight now and I too love the show. Plus it doesn't hurt that Nadine Velazquez is on the show :)

Plus I have said numerous times that Crabman looks like Luther Head.

and surprisingly, a good actress, too. she is really funny in that role. i wouldn't have guessed she'd be able to deliver lines that well.

    hey, crabman!!!
    hey, earl. :)

Do you guys remember Crabman as the Rubberband Man from those officemax commercials? They even did a bit of it when they were all working in that office in a recent episode.

BTW, I think one of the funniest things on the show is when Catalina tells anecdotes about her village and how horrible it was living there, but she tells them so nonchalant.

I think one of them was about this thief who stole all the hats from everyone in the village and then made everybody buy them back from him.

The Office and My Name is Earl are winners. Best comedy duo on TV right now. I really like Love Monkey too (Of course that'd pretty much be a given since I really liked ED and LM is essentially ED with music), but unfortunately it's Dead Show Walking. The ratings are poor and CBS is a bad fit, so Love Monkey is destined to be another show that I saw a ton of promise in but will be gone after one season. Less than one season. It's only gotten an 8 episode commitment so far, and I'm sure it will be done after that.

My Name is Earl and The Office are why I watch network tv again...on a sidenote, last nights two episodes of Scrubs are a perfect reason why that show is so damn awesome. Those three are hands down the best comedies on tv right now.

Best show on TV is Scrubs.

Though Earl and Office are something I can live with.

Randy, from My Name Is Earl, was the huge fat guy in American History X (with Edward Norton).

    "It's a sailboat!!"-from mallrats.

I tried to get into MNIE, watched about 5 episodes, but some of the corniness got to me and I don't watch it anymore, I think I stopped at the wedding and when earl was breakdancing. I still watch the Office, every show. Office and Scrubs are the only things I watch on nbc (and occasionally conan). I watch 2 hours of Fox sunday night, but want them to bring back Arrested development and futurama.

i really like my name is earl. not quite the typical sitcom that i like but still works perfectly. nbc finally finding some new shows is nice to see.

now it doesn't touch scrubs, but then nothing does. assuming it doesn't get cancelled, scrubs will one day be tied with the simpsons and cheers at #1 on my all time shows list. there's no way to surpass those two shows, but scrubs can tie.

two and a half men is probably after scrubs right now which would make MNIE #3. i can't really get into the office but How I Met Your Mother is funny. i swear the audience doesn't laugh nearly enough at Doogie's lines. they're great but don't seem to be appreciated (maybe b/c they're so evil, but that's why they're great). i don't think i've seen an audience not laugh at good material as much as on that show (i mean audiences always laugh or they get a laugh track to do it for them). i'm so glad to see sitcoms bounce back after a little lull. everybody loves raymond and friends (and scrubs) were the only sitcoms going that i watched for a while and when those two fell, there was a huge void.
