So, we ate out Chinese tonight... It was cool cuz I realized that my friend owns this restaurant now. It's the most popular place in town, and I hope to score some deals. Anyways, I get home and eat my meal, and when I go for the fortune cookie afterwards, I find this : "You will be hungry again in one hour." On the back was the Chinese pronunciation of Spring Roll. No Joke. Talk about awesome. Normally, I'd ask if anyone's ever gotten anything clever like this, but then everyone starts making fortunes up. So, what are your best REAL fortunes you've gotten from a fortune cookie? By the way, does anyone know of anywhere to get Peking Duck in the Southwestern corner of New York?
well, that one is awesome. I just had this conversation last night. my best was: "very soon, and in pleasant company" that is so awesome...i mean...it means everything....and in pleasant company. I kept that one with me in my wallet for years until it disentegrated. but your's is the best. that's so funny. can you scan that or sumpin. I'd like to show an image to others.
I don't have a scanner, but I did keep it. The restaurant is called "Zhang's restaurant" and it's in Jamestown, Ny.
I hate the ones that tell you to appreciate life, or whatever. I want an actual fortune! Or at least a phrase with an active verb in it...I like adding "...IN BED!" to the end of all my fortunes cause I'm immature like that.
I actually got a fortune that read: "Your life will change when an unconventionial man comes to live with you"
dang, mine is ugly: <a href="http://www.imagechef.com/" target="_blank"> <img src="http://img1.imagechef.com/w/11/sampcdc3abe6ae36dca3.jpg" alt="ImageChef.com - Create custom images"/> </a>
My sister once got one that read "You love Chinese food!". I was jealous that she got such a cool fortune cookie. About 3 or so years later I got that exact same one. I wonder how many different fortunes each fortune cookie company makes.
