When I drive over a bump or a pothole, there is a rattling noise coming from the front left side of my car. It almost sounds as if the rattle is coming from the dash. The rattle is not consistent (sometimes it rattles while other times it doesn't). What could this be? If it is serious enough, I might have to drive down to the Lexus dealership in Houston to have it checked out. But I don't want to have to waste a day if it's minor. I'll just wait to have it checked during my next service. Thanks.
I've had the same problem with my car. There is a rattling/grinding noise when I accelerate. I've had my brakes changed and that was not the problem; the noise is still there. Help?
i hear a light ratteing/squeeqing noise too. By the way looking for a civic coupe 96-2000 if you or anyone you know is selling one at a college student kind of price.
I had that problem on an old Lincoln Town Car I used to drive. A roll of duct tape showed that car who was boss!
I'm not sure how loud yours is, but I had this in my lexus and it turned out that inside my glove compartment, a piece needed to be snapped into place. If its rattling when you step on the gas, its bad gas...
