Who is your MVP of the season so far?

I have to go with Kobe. I hate the guy, but what the Lakers are doing right now is pretty amazing. I think KG doesn't deserve it because he has Pierce and Allen and they are in the East.

It's so hard to pick MVP's because so many people are deserving. I'd pick Chris Paul or LeBron right now. I really don't see why Kevin Garnett deserves it, I know Boston is a 'big story' and everything but I can think of a few people who I would put above him, including the other 3 in your poll.

Anyway I picked Paul because I like him a bit better than LeBron.

so, any player in the East conference doesnt deserve it, or why do you use that argument?

It's Kobe so far. Now that Bynum is down, Kobe is asserting himself even more.

Chris Paul has had great help from David West so far, who is headed to All star game, so that hurts him a little in the race.

Hornets are not looking that impressive recently. Got their @sses handed to them by Kings and Utah is raping them as we speak.

This is tough. A couple of weeks ago, I would have said Chris Paul easily. But the Hornets have dropped a few games, and LeBron and Kobe have just been spectacular of late.

Marc Stein said that right now Garnett is heavily favored, but I think I'd put him 4th after those three. Right now, I'll say LeBron. The Cavs are winless when he doesn't play, and the losses have been really ugly. Plus, the Cavs lead the league in 4th quarter comebacks, and LeBron leads the league in 4th quarter scoring. Think that's a coincidence? The guy has just been awesome this year.

Is got to be between Lebron and Paul!

Lebron basically carried the entire team on his shoulder although he plays in the leastern conference! Paul is the engine of the Hornets team kinda like Nash's Suns!

Kobe - how can he be the MVP if he cant win without Andrew "are you freaking kidding me" Bynum?
KG - Personally i think Pierce is the best player in the celtics team!

Just saying all the hype should be shut down because they are in teh East. Lebron Personally dominates teams.

To me, the conference matters because the only real reason I can think of that KG deserves it is because the Celtics have the best record, which has a lot to do with them playing crappy teams most the time.

I'd like to hear some arguments about why KG deserves to be MVP, maybe I'm overlooking something.

Right now, id have to go with CP3. However if the Hornets continue to spiral then i will have to give it to Kobe. Unless of course the Lakers also continue on their downward spiral.

However, no matter what happens with those teams, i think KG has it locked up already providing the Celtics win 60 plus which is an almost given. I dont think he deserves it because of his supporting cast, but with all the positive media attention he has received, he is almost a lock.

Damn right Chris Paul. Best player on the best team in the hardest conference with questionable talent. Sometimes Lebron and Kobe hurt their teams. Paul? Never.
