That was a cheap shot... He can claim ignorance since he just got off the DL... Yao will get him back next year...hopefully sooner than that...
God, it seems like every couple of games or some, someone hammers yao either by accident or so. I think perhaps the coaches on the other teams are being too vicious in defending him. Hopefully he doesn't wear out soon. K. Yakko

I think if something like this happened to yao again then he's pretty much deserved it( to be treated as such!)...He should take a stand and find a way to retaliate it...i don't advocate violence,but sometimes it 've got to be that way...yao doesn't want to push around around again during his nba career.heck! i dont even understand if i have yao size and weight ,i'll walk all over other people,shaq included, if i got pushed around so many times...yao needs to toughen up and just forgot completely about his asians cultures. when you're in Rome,yo have to behave like the romans do...seriously if he got involved into something like that again with other teams, i for one will not feel sympathized for him...be agressive, yao....btw, iam yao fan only
Yeah, it was a flagrant to be sure. But in a few years Yao will be dominating the NBA's inside game and Motombo will be in a wheelchair, so who cares. Cato fouled Rodney Rogers with 7:28 to go in the 2nd. It should not even have been called a flagrant. Cato just turned aound late and bumped the guy. I think the league will rescind this call. Mutombo fouled Yao later with 1:10 to go in the 2nd. He sure has a strange way to box out with his arm extended far out behind him and up high. This was not called a flagrant and it should have. No one came to Yao's defense either. The Roz has noone with an enforcer, tough guy attitude.
