I saw the sneak preview of "Sideways" last night and just want to add to the chorus of praise for this movie. However, I would warn against watching the trailer since it gives away the entire plot. The only things I would think you should know to help decide if it is worth $8 and two hours is: 1. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 99% 2. It is directed by the guy who did "About Schmidt" and "Election" 3. It is an unconventional buddy movie/comedy set in California's wine country. 4. There are some humorously unsexy sex scenes and male nudity. Enjoy!
I was all set to watch until you said male nudity. J/K, I hope it comes out here in College Station. This looks like it might start out in the art houses first.
I can't freakin' wait. I read about this a while back, then saw a preview and was hooked. Now, all the critics raving over it has me terribly excited. Election and About Schmidt are two of my favorite movies of all-time, so I imagine I won't be disappointed.
