Couldn't agree more! what a bad way to milk something. Unknown wasn't too bad however. With this one you could see everything coming and there was nothing new. Oh my was the acting horrid especially by kim. She fails her license twice and then starts flipping between gears like it ain't nothing in the chase.
well, i love watching the first taken again and again. it's not gonna get worse watching the second one if it's the same as the first
I’m glad Taken 2 is doing so well, it just proves that film critics and rotten tomatoes don’t determine what movies will succeed. I like when people make their own opinions on movies.
Here is what is going to happen. First, you are going to hand over your hard earned money. Second, you are going to see and hear me say similar lines in a certain voice that you heard me say before in the first film. Third, you will watch people from my family get kidnapped. Fourth, you will watch me kick some ass and free my family with many kinds of weapons. Fifth, I will kill many people. Sixth, there will be a sappy happy ending...like me taking my daughter to a X-factor audition where I save the life of Britney and Simon while earning praise for my daughter. Do you understand? Good luck.
If you went to this movie and were disappointed, then somehow you went in expecting something different than what you ultimately saw. How in the world would you have expected something different than what you ultimately saw? It was a fine movie...not great...not awful.
One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. It had everything wrong with it that crappy sequels tend to have. It was so bad that it seemed like a parody of the first movie. There were more than a few times in the movie where it was just so crappy that people in the theater were laughing at the movie. I knew it wouldn't be as good as the first. But I didn't think it would be THIS bad. Also, sadly, it just has a completely different feel to it. The first film made the issue very personal with the camerawork, whereas this one tried to be a big action movie with 10,000 scenery shots from a helicopter. This also had the oddest score to a film I've ever seen. The background music managed to make the fight scenes feel more awkward than anything else. And I was pretty surprised and disappointed that they took a couple songs from Drive's soundtrack. The last line/scene of the movie was so ****ty that I have to wonder if the whole film was just a big F you to anyone who wanted a sequel to the first movie. Sitting in a milk shake shop with Liam, mom, and daughter, the daughter's boyfriend shows up. The daughter says, "Don't shoot this one dad. I like him!" Everyone then has a corny ass laugh as the camera pans out. Stunned, I couldn't help but say out loud "Holy ****, that was lame." The ending felt like an ending to Step by Step. 0/10
actually I should probably review that 1/10. It was certainly better than.... "Stolen" Watch the trailer only if you have the stomach for ****ty movies <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rpMxOjUjweA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Lol stupid bad guys, why don't they ever tie up more than just his hands....freaking tie his legs too and put something over his mouth.
