Definitely the embryo. Prior to that scene, he also covers up by telling Dallas that the Facehugger is simply sending oxygen down Kane's throat. Bigger question - why would the movie intentionally introduce a concept that would produce that plot hole? Real answer - there's no movie if they do that, so... Devil's Advocate Answer - maybe freezing carries a (low) risk of mortality. Ash may not want to risk the process if there's some chance that Kane (and the Alien) doesn't survive.
I freaking hope that was NOT the soundtrack from the movie that we heard in this short clip. I have a scary feeling that the soundtrack might end up sucking badly in this movie. Ridley Scott need to stop working with this crapola composer Marc Streitenfeld. Another damn month to go. Well at least Avengers is coming out next week. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JXXD34mxGM0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/NnAiIqWsyAo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Just stumbled across this...pretty cool sounding... <iframe width="100%" height="166" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="http://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F44328777&show_artwork=true"></iframe>
Wow, Rothman had spoken. So will this be R-Rated after all? <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AW7QTB2meTE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Haven't got a clue. It could just be part of their promotional stuff to get fans excited with the tie in with ALIENS or we might get a glimpse of it stationary in the bay dock somewhere.
New Trailer. Could be spoilerish... <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1byZkbNB3Jw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Too much was spoilered there. Kind of confirms my guesses....I think. We'll see. Too bad my wife doesn't like gore/creature features. Bud I ain't missing this one. It's up there on my list with Dark Knight and Avengers.
I don't think very much was revealed that hadn't been already by previous trailers. Only big change was a full shot of the snake-hugger. I remain 90% certain that the trailers are still only setting you up for half the plot...I think there's a big chunk they're keeping behind the curtain.
My guess is that the Spoiler woman (Meredith Vickers) who is apparently heading the mission seems awfully robotic and will eventually have something to do with David and his mission objectives. Just a guess.
1080p is here. That's it for me. I have already spoil myself enough for this movie but I hope what we have seen so far is only in the first hour. I'm still scare that this movie is going to turn out to be mediocre because I don't trust Damon Lindelof. That guy can not write. Cowboys & Aliens was just terrible and Star Trek might be fun but the writing of the dialogues and the story/plot was very amateurish. Hopefully he proves me wrong. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/J7GQvXuQJVI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Response Spoiler They eat, drink, etc. They cry and have sex in Scott's Balde Runner. Why not? Plus - Theron is apparently up (with David) before he wakes everyone else. Did she not need hypersleep? I don't know if she is or not, but it's a cool theory I can't debunk.
Here's the english version of the featurette shown in Russian a couple of days ago. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/y-oJ4XHIH9s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
