Anybody else on this Blockbuster program?

Unlimited rentals (2 at a time) for $24.95 per month or 3 at a time for $29.95 per month.

We are only about a mile from a Blockbuster, so this will work out well for us. We did the two-fer; one fer the kids and one fer us.

Tonight we saw "The Last Samurai." Who knows what tomorrow will bring....

    :)

I do netflix, $21 a month, 3 movies at a time. They send the movies through mail and since they have an office in Houston, I get my movies within 1 or 2 days after I send it back, which is great since I just wait until the weekend to see them.

    www.netflix.com

right now I have "As Good as it Gets", "Donnie Brasco" and "Chasing Amy" out and next on my list is "Bad Santa", "The Recruit", "Blow"

Same thing, but they also have video games to rent. Cheaper also. $18.50. But i guess Netflix has a name already...

Well I'd do it considering that blockbuster is only three blocks away from my house and I'm a film nut, but it is the smallest, crummiest blockbuster in the world. It mostly just has new releases and don't have "favorites" pricing on older movies.

I am on the Blockbuster 3 for plan. 1 for me, 1 for the wife and 1 for the kids. We have been very happy with it.

It is a little more expensive than others, but I like that there are no substitutions.

If you live close to a blockbuster, I think it's a great deal. I would get two on the way to work...come home and "watch" them, then get two more that night, "watch" them...then rinse, recycle, repeat.

Netflix is much better because of the WIDER selection of films... Blockbuster is limited to "big budget Hollywood hits" while Netflix provides foreign films, documentaries, all TV shows on DVD, and they're always good quality.

I've gotten too many scratched DVDs from Blockbuster to ever go back.

Is this that "flip it" deal they show on TV?

I would never get that deal simply because the Asian dude with the cornrows wearing a purple and gold jersey under a sport coat in that commercial pisses me off...
