Of course, none of my characters made it to Oregon.
As long as they keep it realistic and the Oxen drown trying to ford the river. That **** always pissed me off.
I think I always floated and lost like clothes and such. Mine was more about everyone being bitten by snakes.
I did what I could to kill off my family members I named as kids I hated in elementary school, when I succeeded killing them off due to drowning or snake bite I quenched my thirst for women by stroking my keys with mavis beacon.
Classic game. I have my students play a modified version once in awhile. I remember always dying of cholera. WTH.
this is the only thing i can say that i have played but have no recollection of playing, still its awesomeness is imprinted in my brain
I can't think of Oregon Trail without this epic post by professorjay from the 2009 playoffs photoshop thread.
You show how aged you are when you mention names you'd give the people. "Eazy E has died of typhoid" "Axl Rose has drowned"
Somewhere in my father's family lore, there is a story about a branch of the family that headed west and lost 8 daughters to cholera on the way. Unbelievable.
Oregon Trail!!! I loved loved playing it in elementary school. A few of us finally reached to Oregon! Of course, I played again.
