Did you think Michael Shannon was Mickey Rourke as well? Why the hell did they make him look like Mickey rourke?

Was better than expected, less over the top than Smokin’ Aces.

Because Mickey Rourke doesn't even look like Mickey Rourke anymore?

We randomly picked this towards the end of its theater run about a month or two before it hit streaming, went in expecting/knowing nearly nothing, and it was pretty entertaining.

Definitely agree on comparisons to other films. It's enjoyable, especially at the time when we picked it, I mean it seemed to be best thing to see at the time iirc. Other movies at the time seemed pretty dull in comparison to this, it was literally this or some movies I don't think I've even seen mentioned anywhere (basically in between releases)/and we already saw the other good movies.

Lately going in knowing nothing vs some of these trailers that show the whole movie seems to pay off in some cases.

Thought it was fun. Brad Pitt carried it with his charisma. He had some support from various characters. The plot, however, was a little too difficult to piece together for the entire movie to allow for a successful payout at the end. Some exposition at the close on the movie too. But the characters were generally tasty.

Just watched this last night. Was fun and I thoroughly enjoyed 90% of the movie. I hated the last part where Michael Shannon pretty much read off the Wikipedia page of what happened...in the same vein of Knives Out. Not my style of movie, from that perspective. Thought it was evenly paced. Enough action, drama and comedy. Having raised a son who liked Thomas The Train, I thought that dialog was pretty funny, knowing a bit about each train.
