If we're talking all time, then yes I hate the j*zz. I've hated them since the Jordan/Hakeem days when they would play against Malone. But if we're talking about currently, I hate Mavs more. Like I said on page one, the j*zz has a more respectable roster than the pricks over at Dallas.
1. Fakers, I hate Kobe and Phil Jackson, since Phil was in Chicago 2. Mavs, because of the 2004-2005 Playoffs
96-97 team was not that good, superstars at the tail end of their career. seattle did knock the rockets off when they were good. it was game 7 in seattle in 93, in fact the game should have been in houston if not for a ref completely missing robinson's tip in after the buzzer and about the rivalry, exactly my point, there was none, because rockets handed it to them. people who watch games now and say jazz and mavs are any type of rivalries haven't seen much of the past. boozer and the jazz aren't worthy of rivalry status nor are the mavs for that matter cause they've never won a thing
1) Texas Tech ohhh, sorry, forgot for a moment we were talking NBA - Jazz of course (they're the Texas Tech of the NBA) Honestly, Mavs are the # 1 hated team in my book - I hate the "New Floppers on the Block" I have no respect for Dousche Flopwitski, Jason Terricloth, and Josh "punked by Boby Sura" Howard... but for all time - I'll always hate the Jazz. Seriously, a team in Utah posing as the "Jazz" ...please at least name yourselves the "Tabernacle Choir" or "Polygamists" or maybe the "Utah Assaults" would be more appropriate. Duke Ellington is probably rolling over in his grave knowing how much the Jazz flop.
Present day? Definitely San Antonio. Duncan's a cry baby, Manu is tainting the sport with flopping, Parker is just a douche, and I'm convinced Bowen is intentionally dirty. I actually love watching us play the Jazz, win or lose we almost always have entertaining games. Of course it's better when we win . Also I would welcome Deron Williams or Boozer onto our team with open arms, they both bring it. On the other hand, I would literally stop being a Rockets fan if we got Manu.
Did anyone hear JVG say Jirk Nowitzki the other night? I think it was a freudian slip. Right now I gotta say Utah. I mean you got Boozer and Harpring that I would pay to hit in the face with an aluminum baseball bat. On the other hand the Mavs have Stackhouse, Erica Dampier,Terry, and Dirk all of whom I would also like to spit on if given a free shot. But since the Jazz game 7 is more recent I gotta say Jazz.
Exactly . Except the Dwill part I respect him and Boozer but still hate them both, Same goes with Josh Howard for me, but 2 > 1 so Mavs are still the most hated .
Right now it's a tough one between the Jazz and Mavs. But I think I just hate the Mavs more on a personal level.
1. Jazz - I don't have to explain, but I will. They play dirty, Sloan's defensive philosophy is "They can't call everything", they flop, they hack, they whine, and they buy the refs in Utah. 2. Lakers - They cheated the Rockets out a dynasty by ratting out John Lucas. Sore losers. 3. Sonics - Illegal defense. Was above the Lakers, but time has changed that. 4. Mavs - Really not much hate here. They were so irrelevant for so long that they were laughable. Now that they are good, they still haven't done anything. I guess I feel a little hate for the bad calls in the 2005 first round series, but certainly not the level of the Jazz or the Lakers. Their fans suck, but whatever. 5. Spurs - Heck, I really wouldn't call it hate. It's more envy.
I think some of you that chose Utah over Dallas have never actually talked to a mavericks fan. They are the worst scum on the planet. They live to talk sh*t bu don't even watch the games until playoff time. Their argument of why the Mavericks are better than the Rockets is something on the lines of "Yao is soft and Chinese" or "Rockets suck" or "Mavs Rule". It's like talking to a r****ded twelve year old. The players are a bunch of classless thugs also. They go throught the season acting like they are supposed to win the championship and everyone thinks they are the best. SCREW THAT WIN A BANNER THEN TALK. Not to say I do not hate the Jazz. I always hated them for their penchant to get goofy looking pasty-white guys on their team: Stockton, Hornacek, Ostertag, Kirilenko, Giriciek, Harpring, etc . . . . F DALLAS AND UTAH BUT F DALLAS HARDER
Pretty good list of teams to hate on, I dislike them all. But the Utah Jazz are head and shoulders above the rest, have been since they cheated their way to the 97 Finals. I'm counting the days until Jerry Sloan retires (or until the NBA calls tech fouls for flopping)
