I think these playoffs are going to be one of the more exciting playoffs for quite some team. I don't think any one conference has been as even matched than the Western Conference is this year. Only eight games separate the 1st and the 8th! If the Playoffs were to start today, you would have the Lakers playing the Blazers in the first round. The Lakers would probably win in 6. But then you would have...

    (2) Jazz vs. (7) Thunder
    (3) Mavs (6) Spurs
    (4) Suns (5) Nuggets

I would be surprised if any of these series went less than 6 games!

The Eastern Conference won't be nearly as exciting to watch. The Cavs-Lakers will most definitely match up in the Finals and will be a very exciting series to watch!

Just trying to stay upbeat about the Rockets not making the Playoffs...

The Rockets would have beaten the Lakers if they went to the playoffs.

    Just my .02 cents.

So they would have won the Championship if they went to the playoffs?

These playoffs aren't as evenly matched in the Western Conference as the 07-08 season. There was 7 games between 1st and 8th spot and all the teams were above .600. Will be interesting to see how loud Thunder will be though. Ha, you see what I did there? The Thunder and loud.....he he.........I think I'll go to sleep now.

They would have matched up well with the Lakers.

But Dwight Howard would have eaten a Yao-less Rockets team alive, by himself.

Factor in Turkoglu, Lewis, and the emergence of Redick, and it would have been 4-1. 4-2, if we were lucky.

Possibly not true. I thought the same thing before playoffs last year, before that epic Rondo-Rose showdown. If Charlotte can edge out Miami (2 games) we have a Orlando-Miami series and what should be a very entertaining Atlanta-Charlotte series.
