Granted, but you also seemed to think the Rockets would have taken Morris over Biyombo. Sounds like Morey was actually going to pick Biyombo if it wasn't for the Hornets sweeping in with the 7th pick (frankly, I am surprised the Rockets would have taken Biyombo 8th).

Well, look at it this way, if it's a shortened season and we're in the lottery again, there is still a chance for us to get a top pick in the lottery. TBH, I think Stern and the NBA would reward the Rockets with a top pick, depending on what other teams are in the draft. The Houston Rockets have never sucked for more than a few seasons.

i totally agree what he said. rox is at the stage where we have to take a risk and to pray return is huge. otherwise, we will be in so-so team forever.

One thing that bothers me - nobody asked Daryl about picking Marc. Morris over Leonard and Singleton.

I have a feeling that Scola has played his last game as a Rocket. And Flynn is not going to stick around very long either.

Also, can nobody spell Motiejunas right? Not Monte. It's Motie.

Huh? How do you know the Rockets did not think he was worthy of the 14th pick? Most likely the Rockets knew that he would be available AFTER the 14th pick and as a result decided they did not need to take him as high.

Remember, the Rockets claim they were close to trading up to #8 to take Morris, but did not need to do so. (Of course this is assuming that Morey is being honest that he wanted to trade up to #8 to take Morris, and was not targeting a different player.... the Rockets said the same thing last year about Patterson....)

If this is so why didn't he take a chance on Tyler ?

I like Parsons he has a chance to be a 6-8 rotation guy. But If Morey was truly willing to take a chance he would've taken Tyler. Jerry West was willing to take that chance.

I like Morey and the picks/trades he has made over the yrs. But he appears to be talking out of both sides of his mouth on the Montie deal and I like Montie.

I think Morey has done a great

So they are not moving Morris to sf? I questioned drafting an undersized pf to convert to a three when there were legit sf's on the board. Now I find out we drafted another undersized pf to keep him as a pf which fits no need what so ever. I dont get it.
