Honestly, I'd call for his resignation more on the grounds of that he's a complete moron as opposed to what he actually did. What he actually did isn't that big a deal, an apology or something. But to be that freaking stupid should merit an immediate ban from Congress.

You might be right. If this was all it is, I can see how it cause problems for his marriage, but I would think his term in office would be salvageable. Maybe he just didn't want to put up with the bs. Or, there's more that would get exposed.
