Do you believe this guy? Threatening to keep players out of Detroit for not agreeing to take the shaft in a trade to get his clients more money? Hard to believe the league lets this kind of stuff happen.

"Falk is acting as a broker in the deal and was putting pressure on Dumars yesterday to agree to the trade. Falk, the source said, was threatening to keep his clients out of Detroit if the Pistons spoiled the 13-player deal. However, the Pistons did not blink and now may be out of the picture completely."

It wouldn't suprise me to find out that Davic Falk has Mob ties. His strong arm methods are almost criminal. That is one bad thing about this Mo deal is the Falk connection. I'm just glad he's not Steve's agent.

That has got to be one of the most asinine statements ever stated on this BBS. Just because a man plays the system like it allows him to, he's connected with the mob.

I guarantee you, if I'm an NBA player, I want Falk as my agent. Many more times than not, he's going to get me the best deal. And until they change the system and give agents less power, more power to Falk.

Dreamer I think it does make him a better agent if he gete me more money. I mean what the hell is the point of having the best agent if he cant get u more money. Comparing him to the devil is kind of silly. As far as I know he hasnt been convicted or even charged with any wrong doing.

I think the point here is that Falk is wrong for threatening to keep his clients out of Detroit.

If I am David Stern, I'm on the phone to Falk asking "What's that **** all about?!"

No one person should have the power to blacklist a single franchise. That's blackmail.

I never liked when agents use lesser clients as pawns to reward the greater clients. Can you seriously tell me that Falk had Taylor's best interests in mind when he was trying to get Ewing and Rice a big fat contract?

The Detroit comment: Illegal - no. Unethical - highly.

As tight of a ship as David Stern runs, I can't imagine he hasn't made the call already.

    Rocketman95,

Hey, I know a guy who can get you even a better deal. His name is SATAN.

My point is just because he can get you more money doesn't make him a better agent.

That'd be like following the old saying "Win at all costs". Well, it sounds good until you have to start cheating to win.

Yeah, let's compare David Falk to Satan. Really smart.

Please show me where Falk has done anything illegal to get his clients good deals.
