I saw Moochie yesterday at the BestBuy at Fry Rd. and I-10. He was his usual, social, self and was wearing slippers and socks, haha. He was with his wife. I couldn't tell what he bought, but he was his cool self. Couldn't tell how in shape he was because of his baggy clothes.
I saw him this past Saturday at the Galleria with his girl or something. He was wearing a polo shirt with some jean shorts and sneakers. I walked right by him. I felt like saying something like "Sup Moochie" but then I didn't want him thinking "Why he talkin to me like he knows me" so I just kept on walking. He seemed like a cool guy though.
You got to give it to a guy who probably wouldn't even star in many church leagues who can con basketball professionals into to giving him a multi-million dollar contract. Moochie should go into sales after his career, which will soon be over. He is living proof that even the big boys sometimes don't know what they are doing. The guy is likeable, friendly, fun-loving, entertaining, and engaging. I am sure he laughs through most days and thanks God every night for living in a dream. He is the Rudy of the NBA.
He must live out here in Katy. I saw Moochie a couple months back at Chick Fil-A on Mason Road. Weird to see somebody "famous" just sitting there with his (wife?/girlfriend? hope I don't get you in trouble, Mooch).
I've alway said he would have trouble staying on the court in a pickup game at the Y. He turned a hair do and a dance on the scorers table into millions of dollars. One time a friend saw him at the bank, and he suprised the heck out of me when he said he was not laughing (all the way to the bank), or wearing a ski mask (because he is stealing money).
Yeah he lives in Windsor Park Lakes, a gated community off of Kingsland in between Fry and Barker Cypress. Yao and Mo T live there too. So does the singer Frankie J. I tried to go meet Yao when he first moved in but his parents answered the door and since they dont speak English it was kinda tough to get my point across. It was funny seeing them walk to the grocery store before they learned how to drive though (and seeing Mrs. Yao learn to drive was hilarious in itself). And no, I am not a stalker.
LOL Codell... that's exactly what I'm saying. These two haven't watched Moochie play at all besides what they've seen in the NBA. You can ask most NBA players and they'll tell you that Moochie will kill just about any guard one on one outside of an NBA game. He's a bit different of a player when he has to go around 7 footers from help defense.
I saw Mooch yesteray also. He was gassing up his Hummer down the street from Fonde. The baggy gym shorts he was wearing had the NYK logo. Not a good sign if one expects him to be back with the Rockets.
Yeah, God forbid if Moochie wears some baggy gym shorts of one of his old teams. The sky is falling! Mooch is as good as gone because of that!
