Ok, I know I'm getting desperate when I start watching an NBA Inside Stuff episode featuring WNBA highlights, but it's August. Anyway, on the show they had some highlight's of Alonzo Mourning's charity game and briefly interviewed Moochie who is now bald . I can only think this is a good move on Moochie's part, because he needed to do something to make himself a new man.
You know what would be a similar situation? If Yao Ming denounced his nationality, and had a surgery to be come 9 inches shorter.
WOW!! you are right! as you can see from this picture, Moochie(standing next to zoe with hand on head) has no hair!!!
a bald mooch? what's next, a young rice? a white yao? oh well, at least he won't be distracted by all that weight and volume on his damn head....then again, so won't the other team, so there goes mooch's advantage out the window.
A really similar situation would be if the Rockets forced Rudy T out and hired Patrick Ewing to help coach. Next thing you know, Les will try to fire Calvin.
mooch is only with the rockets becasue of comical reasons with his hair. Withought his hair what reason is there to keep him???
...ESPN Q&A session from last year. 2. The whole Moochie experience. The look -- the socks up, the baggy pants. How did that come about? I know at one point they wanted you to curtail that and tone it down. Norris: It's just been me. I think that's when I lost it and fell off a little bit is when I was worrying too much about what people were thinking about me. Because everyone knew I was a nice person, but when I was getting drafted they were tellin' me people would judge me because of my appearance, and that I wasn't a top draft pick and this, that and the other, so I ended up cutting all my hair off and went bald because I was worrying what everyone was thinking about me, and it kind of distracted me for a while. Even when I got in the CBA, it was kind of difficult. Moochie Norris bobblehead Now I'm just glad that everybody accepts me for me. No matter how my hair is, they know that I won't do nothing too crazy to embarrass myself or the people I'm representin'. If they have a problem with me, then I won't do it. But I know they like the way I wear my hair, it's bringing a lot of national attention and it's not just me not doin' it because I'm doin' it. http://espn.go.com/page2/s/questions/moochie.html
ron, I was going to post the same exact thing a few hours ago with the same pull quotes as well. Kind of funny, sort of.
Hmmm... Sounds like a certain 2nd string PG is taking a different approach to the upcoming season. Less style, more substance? Lets hope it rubs off on the rest of the team.
Bald can be used as a adjective (describing a lack of hair), a transitive verb (to make bald) and an intransitive verb (to become bald). So Moochie technically IS bald if we use bald as an adjective, which I think was the use in this thread.
