Even though we do not need a SG, many scouts have predicted Alexander they only sure deal in the draft. Many mocks have Mosie going much lower than 9th pick. Do you think if Alexander falls to 9th, that we should get him and either keep him or trade him for a veteran PF or other draft choices. ------------------
Jerome Moiso. Courtney Alexander is not a very good fit for this team. I am very questionable on him as he shoots a very high volume of shots and does not address any of the frontcourt needs. Alexander is a scorer in the purest sense of word, that is not something the Rockets need at this pt. They need more size and versatility. ------------------ Check out the Best Source for Draft Info Draftsource.net
Alexander is very low risk, he is a near sure thing to score 15-18 ppg in the right system, but he'll probably do it shooting 42% or lower. He is nearly the exact opposite of what we need, if he was a PG, he would be the exact opposite. We need front court people. ------------------ Rockets fans wanted at hoopsboards.com Draft Chat, NBA Chat, Team Chat, and more!
The key word for the rockets this draft is FRONT COURT HELP so I suspect that is primarily what they are going to go after , the only way I see them taking anything else is if the big guys they want are all gone wish I really think that is going to be the case and were gonna end up taking some foreing guy and he's contract won't allow him to come over and we'll be screwed !!! Hope am wrong as hell !!!!!!!! ------------------ "Why can't we just get along"...quote from a scientist in Half-life 2nd edition.
Hey, if we can pick him and package him in a pre-determined trade, do it. What teams want him, anyway?
Molen, This is my opinion also. If he is there, he will be the best available. Even if there isn't a trade set up, he can probably be traded after the rocky mountain preview after he lights up teams lead by the big men. ------------------ "You've got 6 fouls, use them well" -Derrick Coleman
When you say lower you mean later in the draft or at a lower pick as in closer to teh first pick? ------------------ Shane "Save Our Rockets" "Life without basketball in Houston........without an arena that is what it will be"
