    Just a couple of comments:
    * If Jordan thinks that Curry has a weight problem at all he'll take someone else at that spot.

    * The Clippers are stocked at long lanky players. They need a Center.

    * It seems plausible that the Hawks would trade down given their plethora of Centers, if the strongest player on the board is still a Center.

    * Was Jerry Krause frowning or did his neck throw up? It's awesome that the Bulls weren't rewarded for their tanking. Will he trade down? Would he draft an unproven Diop? While I think Battier would be a great pickup for the perennial losers... Krause seems sold on 'potential', etc. Alot of questions for this pick.

    * I'm starting to wonder if the Rockets would take a chance, even on an athletic 'Lamar Odom' bodied player. In hindsight, things might pan out, such as they apparently did w/ Collier (we won't really know I guess for a few years) if/when the Rockets trade down... I'll just be bummed b/c you get yourself psychologically sold on the 'draft ranking' of a particular player, even if it's bs or not.

    * I read that Forte will be lucky to get picked in the top 25... have you seen it differently somewhere or is this your intuition?

I'm not sold on Forte, but the Rockets may go three guard against the zone. Lil Francis, that is quite possibly the worst draft from a rockets perspective.

maybe we could trade our picks to the warriors. The best people available for them are all sf, pf, c, and they already have Jamison, M. Jackson, and that other guy that was injured this year.

13 + 22 for the Pansyman? I doubt the Clips will need her anymore.

I think this is how it will go. Of course this is without knowing how the personal workouts go.

    1) Washington - Kwame Brown : </> Remember how Jordan was drooling over Darius Miles? Well, this kid is better than Miles. I think Brown is a franchise player with the versatility and size to make an impact right off the bat. Won't be a star right away though, but will get serious minutes on a good team.

2)Los Angeles - Eddy Curry : Is Olowakandia bust or what?

    3) Atlanta - Eddie Griffin : Though it would not shock me to see them trade down, if they don't, Griffin is an easy choice for them. Gives them a great young nucleus of Ratliff, Terry, Johnson and Grifffin.

4)Chicago - Jason Richardson : An Athletic Shooting guard, shot still a little iffy, but is an exciting young player, and Chicago needs some offensive help.

5)Golden St -Tyson Chandler : He just gonna get hurt, so it doesn't matter.

6)Memphis - Sagana Diop : Memphis has plenty of offensive weapons, but lacks in the defense and rebounding areas. Diop is raw, but could be a very good defensive center.

7)New Jersey - Rodney White : Tough pick to call, but I think Van Horn is gone in New Jersey, and I think they go for the potential in White over the sure thing in Battier.

8)Cleveland - Shane Battier : Look, its Cleveland's dream player. Nice guy, smart, and consistent.

9)Detroit - Joe Johnson : Versatile enough to play several positions and can provide a No. 2 scorer to Stackhouse.

    10) Boston - Jamaal Tinsley : Boston needs a point guard and Tinsley is the best one available.

11)Boston - Samuel Dalembert : Dalembert is a guy who I think will climb the board rapidly, especially with the new zone rules, he becomes more and more important.

12)Seattle - Zach Randolph : I think Seattle will take a flyer on the big guy from MSU. Hes big and agile enough to deal with the Western Conference PF's and will provide an inside presence Seattle is lacking at the moment

    13) Houston - ???? : Your guess is as good as mine, though I doubt Houston ends up drafting here.

You know I kind of agree with Lil Francis, isn't it obvious that our team lacks depth at the shooting guard position?

I mean we're solid everywhere else but the backup shooting guard.

Drafting a backup shooting guard is so much better than what we drafted last year when we got Collier and the 22nd pick for this year...

But we have so many guys from different positions that play there, that we don't need one true backup SG.

Francis, Colson, Anderson, and the Wizard make for a good backup committee.

Only go for Forte with 18th(If we get it) or the 25th.

Personally, I think he will be a good player, but too much of a glaring weakness at the 3 and 5.

Because when you have the opportunity to pick a rookie of the year, you better take it.

    Nike,

why would Golden State draft Richardson? They have Hughes at shooting guard. Are you assuming he'll play the 3? Because he doesn't seem like the ideal 3 to me.

All the big players will be gone so Rudy will either take Haywood, Forte, or Wallace.

This is probably the surest thing in the draft.

Ive heard Griffin could play the 4 spot so LA could use him there , Jordan will only draft Eddie Griffin if he's not coming back next year , Or so people will think . Joe Forte will be a lottery pick just because hes from NC . Ive heard Jamaal Tinsley is as high as #3 on some people's top prospects list . Tyson Chandler is thin but Vancouver/Memphis shouldnt pass him up .Espn has Richard Jefferson at 16 while Joe Johnson is at #8 . Espn also says there is a 7 foot 1 SMALL forward we might draft . Krause will either trade down and wait another year or He'll take Shane Battier and trade him for on of lower round the Centers .

I think Eddy Curry is going to be the next great Olowokandi-esque center in the league. Of course, if he plays PF in the league, I see some Ike Austin comparisons in his future.

I am just not convinced that he should go that high.

Look at GS. At PF/C, Dampier, Foyle, Fortson, Jackson, as well as Jamison, who will get some PF time. Outside a youthful project (Tyson Chandler) a big man at #5 is out of the question. Jamison and Hughes start at the swing positions, mainly Sura off the bench. It's WAAY too early to draft a PG at #5, so you're looking at SG/SF. Maybe you can go with Battier, but it's left to Battier and Richardson. Potential wise, Richardson can be a big time player in the backcourt, which Golden State will need. Even though Richardson's jumper isn't that good it is MILES ahead of Larry "what kind of shooting guard has an outside shot" Hughes. Richardson's will improve.
