I thought it would be fun to create my own Mock Draft, and I would like to see yours too. (I only did lottery and included players that are expected to or have declared).

    1.Chicago-Eddy Curry
    2.Golden State-Tyson Chandler
    3.Washington-Eddie Griffin
    4.Vancouver-Jason Richardson
    5.Atlanta-Desagana Diop
    6.New Jersey-Loren Woods
    7.Cleveland-Zach Randolph
    8.Los Angeles-Shane Battier
    9.Detroit-Troy Murphy
    10.Boston-Michael Bradley
    11.Denver-Gilbert Arenas
    12.Seattle-Rodney White
    13.Houston-Richard Jefferson

    Any thoughts?

1-5 is pretty much right on target with what I've got. But...I seriously don't think Gilbert Arenas would go that high--I'd be surprised to see him get picked before 25, and I think the Rockets could get Jefferson with one of their later picks as opposed to 13. Murphy and Bradley are intriguing picks, but I think you can pencil in Tinsley with one of Boston's picks--they need a point.

prempeh, maybe you are right. I just thought that with Denver needing a 2, and Arenas being a 2, combined with some sources saying Arenas is a better player than Jefferson, it would be a good pick. Maybe I'm wrong.

Clips are loaded at SF with D. Miles and Lamar O.

Rodney White is listed as a PF in college but I feel he's going to be a SF in the pros. Seattle is also loaded at SF with R. Lewis and D. Mason but who knows.

You're definitely right about Denver needing a 2, but unfortunately for them Boston will get that #11 pick this year from the Fortson trade, I think. But Denver does draft again later in the first round, so maybe Arenas would be a possibility for them a little later on.

Any chance Richardson or Griffin fall to 13?

Richardson might fall, depending how deep the draft gets and how he fares in camps. Maybe. Griffin will go top 5.

Not bad, but no way Rockets take Jefferson with the #13. I have to agree with MManal in the Rudy T type players thread. Jefferson is a good player, but not someone who the Rockets would chase after. Jefferson may have improved his stock with his play in the tourney to mid-range first rounder. But he's not the defensive stud people think he is, and he's not a brilliant shooter. Rudy doesn't draft for athleticism. Not unless they're tall players like Langhi, Miles, or Dermarr Johnson who create the potential for mismatches. I'm still not convinced that Jefferson will be significantly better than Shandon to take him over other players. Second to Battier, I'd rather take Rodney White at SF with the #13 if he's available.
