I ask you why the heck not?? The guy brings nothing to the table other than points...he would be instant offense like the was 4 years ago, almost winning the 6th man award. Sliding Mobley to the bench would be ideal for Stevie who is a SG anyway. Mobley will get his minutes, but getting players who actually bring defense and other intangibles to the table (ie Hawkins-Defense, Moochie-A PG) or helping further the development of Nachbar (more mins, experience as starter) would be a good move. Mobley is not a starter...please Rudy T put his BEHIND ON THE BENCH!!
Lets see, the team is having trouble scoring so the answer is to take out the #2 scorer? How does that help!?
the team will do fine w/ mobley on the bench...w/ KT, MoT, and steve...rocks will have no trouble scoring its just a matter of time...While id rather have someone out there who can actually play some defense and not shoot anything he touches!!
But the fact of the matter is Mobley is the #2 scorer on the team so you're weakening the offense when you take him out. And this entire team struggled defensively, don't blame Mobley for it. So if defense is the reason you want to bench Mobley then you better bench everybody but Griffin.
