Is anyone besides me getting tired of hearing Mo Taylor's quotes. Friday on 610 he was talking about how Ben Wallace was the starter in the All Star game because there were no other Centers in the East, basically saying he wasn't that good. Somebody needs to tell that guy if he ran as many laps as much as he ran his fat a** mouth, he might be an All-Star.

That's not my point. He may be right, but he isn't qualified to speak on the subject. He definitly doesn't need to be talking about someone's qualifications when he clearly isn't an All Star.

I would at least want to say that it would be wiser for him, Francis and Mobley to NOT make comments that can even remotely be construed as negative about other players. They should rather focus on improving themselves.

Well, the insult is that Wallace is better than MoT.

MoT needs to check his own stats...

    Taylor - PPG 6.4, RPG 3.3, BPG 0.6
    Wallace - PPG 6.5, RPG 14.8, BPG 2.8

I actually voted for Z. Wallace is a PF, not a center, as far as I'm concerned. Even still, Maurice Taylor needs to shut his pie hole.

Well. Thanks for the video link. I have to say he seems like a nice guy from the video. I don't know what to think about the guys on this team right now.

Hmm...I voted for Steve Francis, Kobe Bryant, Kenny Thomas, Tim Duncan, and Yao Ming. Other times, I voted for Kevin Garnett.

Anyways...Mo Taylor does have a loud mouth. He loves to talk.

By the way, how did you find that video?

Does anyone know a good place where they provide postgame quotes? I like reading them...

It's now apparent that this quote was taken out of context...

MoT wasn't trashing the East Centers.

He was merely stating that there's an imbalance between the east and west center pool of talent.

    And it's true. Not smack.

By the way, Kam is right. Zydrunas Ilguaskas is a very good center.

Trashing or stating, I don't care what Mo Taylor has to say until he makes an All Star game.

OK, so because he's never played in an all star game, he's not allowed to give an opinion on it? That makes sense...It's not like he was saying he should be on the all star team or anything...

Since nobody on this board has played in the NBA, they aren't allowed to give their opinion about any NBA player. I'm also assuming that nobody has held politial office, so nobody is allowed to give their opinion on any political issues in the Hangout...

I agree that the main point Taylor was trying to make was how weak the centers are in the east. What I don't understand is why he doesn't think you should prepare for someone who's a good rebounder.

Uhh...starting to realize why Mo is such a pushover on the boards.

The point, idiot, is I'm tired of hearing his mouth period. This quy is always being quoted like he's Barkley, when I say I don't care what he has to say, it means I don't want to hear him running his mouth until he steps up his game. A guy who isn't even average at his position should not be quoted on anything, especially other player's play.

Yes thats my point about players. The same doesn't apply to fans. But that's just how I view it.

Why? Because you're a fan, and not a player? Everyone has an equal right to express their opinion. The weight you attach to that opinion is up to you.
