Good to hear that Mo will only be suspended 6 games, even though we played 10 already

I seriously believe the league messed up and just try to make them selves look good and harsh.

Pike needs to practice before he can get in the game.

He's just about healthy, but these 4 games in 5 nights took away any practice time he could have had.

He might not be ready this Wednesday, but look for him sometime during the West coast road trip.

MoT and Pike will be a huge addition to the offense. Our offense has been pretty bad lately and it should be right now, just look at our bench.

Braggs, Norris, Nachbar, Padgett are probably combining for 10ppg, MoT and Pike could easily combine for 18-20ppg by themselves. Our offense will be back, we add another 2 pure scorers to mix.

Stay away from trouble and get healthy Mo. We need his scoring.
I'm still afraid that he will do something stupid because he might feel vindicated but I'm glad that he will get another chance to play.

Im just waiting for a little convo with the press. Mo always seems to have his own little way of talking to these people

From everything I've heard, this was a mistake as the result of taking too much medication. However, the league will still hold a player responsible for it. In this instance, Mo may have not gotten the right advice or maybe didn't seek as much information or whatever. Chances are that it wasn't COMPLETELY his fault, hence the reduction of suspension, but he probably made a mistake in the process.

The process itself is flawed. Not allowing a player to appeal a ruling for 15 days is ridiculous. All the league can do is return the money. They can't return the games. That is really penalizing the team for something that may or may not be the fault of the player.

IMO, they should allow a grace period for protests and reviews before the suspension occurs.

I believe the CBA comes up for renewal this summer and I would be shocked if this scenario is not addressed.

Mo is one of my favorite players. We need his scoring in the second team, and we need Pike, A and E Griffin, and play Wilks instead of Moochie... at least he doesn't turn the friggin ball over.

Wow this is great news. Whether Mo T. took too much pain medication or whatever it doesn't change the fact that some people assumed the worse, and were quick to react to that. I jumped the gun in the beginning and assumed it was pot again, too.

Hopefully this will prevent rushes to judgement in other situations, but I somehow doubt it.

Well things are finally going in our favor! Lets get Mo, Pike, and A. Griffin out there and win 50 games and lock up a playoff spot!

    finally...

Im glad they finally let him come back, we need some scoring punch on those nights when Yao is bouncing his shots off the backboard and SF, CM and JJ can't hit the broad-side of a barn.

I do find it sad that this thread with good news gets so little action while the negative ones go to 15 pages +. :(

I guess some people aren't prepared to have some crow for dinner.

    Welcome Back Mo..:)

Now what about that Ford guy? Will they have to dismiss him?

unless they can find a way to get rid of Ben Davis(is that his name?) the guy is injured and for some reason they cant seem to release him cause of the rules.

When Pike gets back in a couple of games, expect to see Meech start to get those irritating phantom injuries.

I wonder who else will get moved to IR to make room for AG or EG? (if he makes it back anytime soon)

I would like to see Ford on the team instead of Ben Davis. If I understand correctly Davis can't be cut until he comes off the IR list.

That's really all you have to say? Not even an "I was wrong?" Positivety and benevolence, my ass.

Mo took 15 pages worth of vitriol from the 'fans' on this board. More than eight of those pages came after reports that this was probably an honest mistake. After all is said and done, after the Houston Rockets take a bad hit that will almost definitely affect their playoff seeding (think Mo's offense couldn't have changed the Toronto game?), after Mo takes the high road (no pun, assmunchers) and 'admits' a mistake that either belonged more effectively to the NBA or to the Rockets doctors for prescribing him a banned substance, this is all you have to say? Really??

    Lame, lame and double lame.

In the words of the late, great Fleshmop: You suck as a girlfriend.

Glad Mo Tay is coming back early. He was playing so well just before he got the suspension.

We have needed his instant offense in a number of games so far this season, especially the Toronto game. The Rocket's have been having a hard time in the last couple of games in finding the go to guy late in the games.

Well, we managed to limit the losses in his absence, so that's good...i've not been a Taylor fan since his suspension but we really need a good PF on the court !!!

Thank god. We need him. Hopefully he can get us some much-needed points and boards, and now his name is at least somewhat more cleared, too. Honestly, I never really even cared if he smoked some weed in the first place. Not the worst thing he could have done... though it's not something I do myself.
