At the time, I didn't "know" it was THC, but based on his history, I thought it was a reasonable probabilty. Is that my fault or is that Mo's, for having been suspended before for THC. I didn't post at all on the matter, and I know your post isn't directed at me. I figured it was probably pot, but it must not have been, or they wouldn't have reduced his suspension, and I am very glad that it wasn't. However, Mo had bad judgement in any case that hurt the team. Since you knew all along, you don't perchance have any stock tips you'd like to share, do you?
Yes, however, something DEFINITELY wasn't right. He does bear some responsibility, but having it reduced is a message from the league that they may have been too hasty and harsh.
No, their rules are too hasty and too harsh. If it was going to be fair, the NBA should have reviewed this case much sooner and made a decision much sooner. It's only perplexing because, why 6 games? Why not 5? It doesn't matter though; his play better improve to make up for the lost time.
I agree, they probably considered it like another pot offense. But in the end it's a 6 game suspension.
Nice, something positive to read on the bbs. This is definitely a nice boost for the Rox when he comes back on Wed. He should really help out our scoring. Welcome back MoT.
It's confusing as hell but, like 90+% of you, I'm glad we're getting him back. Hopefully, it'll come out that it was his medication... that way we can get some props for Eric Riley (right??), who claimed to have some inside info on it. We could use some reliable (or semi-reliable ;-) ) insiders. Now, if heypartner could be discovered and returned to the BBS... wouldn't that make for a nice "icing on the cake"? Where the heck is he!
Glad to know he has character. Guess we all shouldn't (or most of us shouldn't) jump to conclusions so quickly. Welcome back to the fold Mo... Thumbs up!
Great to have Mo back! Perhaps with him back, we can finally get Mo scoring from our bench. The past two losses to the Mavs and Raptors have certainly exposed our bench's weakness (along with our guards' sometimes boneheaded decision making). Mo will finally give us a legitimate low post threat for our second unit.
So how exactly was he "reinstated"? He still got a fine of 6 games. If he had done nothing, they would have had to apologize for slapping him with an unjust fine. Did they apologize? No. He did. His penalty was reduced. He was not reinstated. The thread title is dead wrong. He must have still done SOMETHING wrong. And I doubt that we will ever find out what it was - not that I care that much to find out either.
Do you think Mo will be put right back into the rotation? I know we neeed him to be our sparkplug off the bench, but I hope JVG doesn't take some time to bring Taylor along slowly. We need his presence in our 2nd unit.
shame on all u fans that said such bad stuff about mo when we first heard about the suspension. now look at yall, all back no Mo T side ready to help him light up a blunt.
actually, i think he missed 6 games due to the process of reinstatement. the paper said regardless of whether he was innocent, he would still miss 6 games because of the process. the paper said this the day he was suspended! now who was it that said he would never post here again if he was wrong about mo smoking weed?? freaking jerks around here just loooove to be negative. good to have mo back.
