The Cat & jamcracker - Count me in as pro-MO as well. I have decided to take a low profile from hereon. There are 64 games left in the regular season and that's MOre than enough time for Cuttino to learn how devasting a pick and roll with Mo would be. I still like what Mo brings to the table (at bargain price) and he is nowhere near adjusted to the Rockets system. He still has a huge upside. It doesn't take much mental skill to ISOlate on a small component of a players game and beat it into the ground with verbal negativity. The Mo bashing is tired, old, and (arguably) unwarranted. I'm throwing in the towel not because I no longer believe in Mo's ability (or desire) to succeed in a Rockets uni, but because logical and rational responses to emotionally charged issues largely go unheard. Peace....I'm outta here....... ------------------ GATER
secondly, and more important, the word opportunities doesn't just mean how many shots per minute or things like that. Ok, sorry, when you said "Taylor could score a ton too if he got the shots and minutes Cat and Francis do", I assumed that you meant that if he got more minutes, then he'd get more shots and his average would be comparible to Francis or Mobley. I didn't realize that you really meant that he'd score Steve and Mobley like number if he played more minutes and got more shots and those shots were post ups. Did you notice that Taylor doesn't really post up a whole lot? Have you seen him post up and get waved off by the guards often? Are you assuming that Rudy has told him not to post up? Did somebody on the Clipper's staff also tell him not to post up very much? How about on the University of Michigan staff? How about considering the idea that the reason Taylor doesn't post up much is because he just doesn't like to post up. He'd much rather move outside and face up to the basket. I've seen Mo isolated too many times towards the end of the shot clock in which he has to just throw up a shot as the shot clock is expiring. Yeah and we never see Mobley or Francis have to force up a shot with the clock running down. Get back to me with comparisons when Mo is actually playing the minutes Steve and Cat average What about the fact that Taylor's pts/shot were almost identical last year when he was playing 35.9 min/game? Were the Clipper's also using him incorrectly? Or was it just the fact that he was just too depressed to be playing for the Clippers? ------------------
